Hi! I'm KC

About Me

I’m a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern and graduate student at Adams State University. I see clients at our new Kanab, Utah location. I enjoy working with people of all ages and believe that feeling safe, understood, and genuinely connected can make a meaningful difference in therapy. My counseling style is warm, relational, curious, and nonjudgmental. I’m especially interested in trauma and attachment, neurodivergence, grief and loss, identity, relationships, anxiety and depression, and navigating life transitions. I take a trauma-informed and individualized approach and enjoy finding creative ways to help people better understand themselves and their experiences.

I believe you don’t have to have everything figured out—or explain everything perfectly—to come to therapy. I hope to create a space where you can be yourself, slow down, and explore what matters to you at your own pace.

My Approach

Warm, engaging, and kind. I use TF-CBT, CBT, Play Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, and more to help clients reach their goals.

Outside of Session

Outside of counseling, I love spending time outdoors, taking photos, listening to music, writing, and spending time with my two kids and cats. I’m always learning, growing, and finding new ways to stay connected to the people and experiences that make life meaningful.
